Let our energy industry experience work for you. See us for a variety of planning, designing, permitting, construction and engineering services.
Natural gas pipeline - Bitter Creek has installed over 300 miles of pipeline including well lines, loop lines and main trunks throughout the Rocky Mountain and Great Plains regions. The company owns and operates more than 1,900 miles of pipeline and approximately 81,000 horsepower of compression in addition to numerous dehydration facilities in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Kansas.
With our industry-experienced professionals, we can get your project designed, permitted and built on-time and within budget. Our staff has extensive experience in procuring pipe and compression equipment and working with the myriad of regulatory permitting agencies. We can provide gathering system design using GPS/GIS mapping data as well as hydraulic modeling to install pipelines to meet your needs.
Compression and compressor engineering - Bitter Creekâs energy professionals can provide design services for compressor stations. Design capabilities include compression sizing and selection, pipeline layout, controls, drafting, and procurement. We have constructed many compressor stations and currently own and operate 86 stations consisting of approximately 81,000 horsepower. Talk to us about operating your compressor station on a contract basis.
Measurement stations - Design services for measurement stations are another area of our expertise. Design capabilities include meter specification, piping layout, communications, drafting, and procurement. We currently own and operate thousands of meter stations ranging from wellhead measurement to delivery stations into regulated pipelines.
Cathodic protection - Costs associated with corrosion-related failures can be minimized through the proper installation, operation and maintenance of a correctly engineered cathodic protection system. Our trained personnel have the certification and the technical ability to provide the proper system design for each specific project. Cathodic protection training can be provided to the operator new to the principles of cathodic protection.
Stand-by energy and energy efficiency systems - We can provide the engineering, design and construction services for stand-by energy facilities and other alternative energy solutions. We have built propane-air systems for the Ellsworth Air Force Base near Rapid City, S.D., and the Minot Air Force Base near Minot, N.D. In addition, we have provided energy efficiency systems for both military installations.
